my name ali taleb from iraq my birth date 19/06/1974 I Worked as a filmmaker in Baghdad and produced documentary films humanity such (mad of wars ), (Hidden secret) , (night of Baghdad), ( The Hero) ,(Al Azadia),(the heaven patient ), (where is my home?), ( Coco homeless) (grave digger), (the miracle),( The Arabic medic ) , (kidnapping), (Saddam's big Dream),(Iraqi gebsy 1991: The Iraqi Fashion Centre I started working at The Iraqi Fashion Show Director as the Fashion Exhibitor in 1991, and afterwards specialized as an instructor and director of productions related to the Fashion Centre. During this time I travelled to numerous countries and participated in important festivals such as "Qurtaaj" in Tunisia in 1995, a special festival in the United States of America in 1996, exclusive shows in 1997 in Dubai and 1998 in Vienna, the Mediterranean Festival in Italy as well as being invited to Venezuela by OPEC in 2000, and being invited to France by UNESCO in 2001. 2002: Film and Theatre Director From 2002 I worked as an approved director in the spheres of cinema and theatre in Baghdad during which time I directed numerous classical works for which I received several awards in large festivals in Baghdad. I participated in an innovating work in the "Experimental Theatre" festival in Cairo in 2002 and similarly, immediately after the Baghdad invasion, did a theatre production and participated in an International festival in South Korea in 2003 with the group that I formed and managed since 2000 (called "The Mardoukh Acting and New Drama Dancing Group" / www.mardoukhgroup.net). While residing in Jordan I also participated in the Jarash Festival in a theatre production. 2003: News Photographer In 2003 I worked with the Korean TV KBS NEWS Agency as a photographer for two months during several incidents that occurred in Baghdad at the time, amongst which were the bombing of the Jordanian Embassy and the UN headquarters in the country. 2004: News Reporter In 2004 I worked as an approved reporter with the "Al-Hurra TV U.S.A" Satellite Channel in Amman, reporter with the,APTN News, and during this time reported on important conferences that took place in Amman, as well as on political, economical, cultural and sports happenings.
